The Geeky Photographer Look

Been enjoying photography quite a while, and thought it might be a good idea to do a series of pics where the photographer is being photographed while he/she is focusing on his/her own discoveries.

fyi: those pics that are clearer are shot with a digital camera and those blurry dusty ones are shot with a film camera. Kinda liked the contrast between the two so just left it that way.

So, here we go:

This is what I shot:

and this is me shooting it:

Kodak Portra 400VC(4)023-sw

It's really surprising to find a pair of Dr. Martens that looks nothing like Dr, Martens, without the iconic Dr.Martens silhouette. It's like finding a neon-colored Channel T shirt with graffiti prints on , or a plain white shirt on the catwalk of Alexander McQueen. But since I was really looking for a comfy slip-on, this pair is really a star buy.

What I shot:

And to compare the effects of digital camera and film camera:

I prefer the ones on film, for their softness and the power of folding in a story to the image.

hat: H&M
t shirt: Marc by Marc Jacobs
jacket: Ebase
trousers: Zara
shoes: Dr. Martens
